Earned Wage Access (EWA) is a benefit which allows employees to access their earned salary before payday.
EWA works with your employer to allow employees to access a portion of their earned salary before payday . Requested funds ( if any) by the employee will be deducted from the months salary.
EWA can be used for various purposes, including emergencies, recurring expenses, or discretionary spending. However, it's essential to use EWA responsibly and consider the impact on your overall financial well-being.
EWA can benefit employers by reducing financial stress among employees, increasing productivity, improving employee retention, and enhancing overall workforce well-being.
EWA is not a loan. EWA allows employees to access a portion of their earned wages before the payday. When employees access their earned wages early through EWA, they are essentially accessing money they have already earned.
Unlike a loan, EWA does not involve borrowing money that needs to be repaid with interest. Instead, the amount accessed through EWA is deducted from the employee's upcoming paycheck on the regular payday. Therefore, EWA can be seen as a more flexible and convenient way for employees to manage their cash flow without incurring debt or interest charges.
